The world is ageing, and there is a growing demographic who aren’t connected to the internet. Bettie http://www.bett.ie is a new product designed to allow non connected older adults connect with there children and grandchildren. The product enables a complete out of the box experience that negates the current pain of getting online. From creating a product with embedded connectivity to create a new tangible interface to make the device more accessible. The project has been developed by Ben Arent as part of his undergrad degree http://jive.benarent.co.uk/ , and re-developed while working developing technology for independent living at the TRIL centre. http://www.trilcentre.org/

We welcome your feedback and are privileged to talk at the event.
